Meet the author
Hi! My name is Janet Castrejon. I'm the author of Bilingual Kiddos. I live in the United States in the state of California with my husband, who is Mexican, and my two children, who we have raised in a bilingual household. I studied abroad in Spain when I was in college, lived in Mexico for about a year and also lived in Puerto Rico for about three years.
As far as my credentials, I have my bachelor's degree in Spanish education with a minor in teaching English as a Second Language and a master's degree in education (in Curriculum and Instruction) with an emphasis in Educational Technology. I hold a California teaching credential (in Spanish education and bilingual education) and an authorization in Computer Concepts and Applications. I also have a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Professional Certificate.
